Once the integrating authority provides the data users with secure access to the (confidentialised) integrated data, the analysis and interpretation can be conducted.
As data integration is generally not perfect, it is recommended that data users should undertake a series of edit checks before they begin their analysis of the integrated dataset. This includes becoming familiar with the data collections within the integrated dataset as well as knowing the quality of the source datasets and how this might affect the quality of the integrated dataset.
All outputs from this analysis must comply with the conditions as stated in the project agreements. For example, some data integration projects may require final sign off from the data custodians prior to the publication and dissemination of research findings (see data users - role number five.)
